Con el objetivo de acercar el arte a quienes lo deseen y volverlo parte de su realidad a tan solo unos clics de distancia, Art Latinou presenta a Andrea Rey, Vanessa Freitag y Yohanna M.Roa con Invención del paisaje exposición curada por Ixchel Ledesma.
Invención del paisaje es una muestra que busca descolonizar territorios y crear otros, llevando al límite el artificio en las posibilidades de la virtualidad digital y la imaginación. La exposición está dividida en tres instalaciones: “Hábitat II” de Yohanna M.Roa, “Jardín Interior” de Vanessa Freitag y “Organismos amorosos” de Andrea Rey, artistas latinas unidas por su materialidad textil. Con esta viewing room se busca abrir un espacio virtual y digital, un espacio creativo y un lugar para recordar y devenir lo que somos, reinventándonos a partir de lo que esperamos que podríamos ser. La muestra se convierte así en un espacio del devenir, un espacio de afinidades, e interconexiones entre fuerzas compatibles que se atraen mutuamente jugando con las posibilidades de la virtualidad en el espacio digital. ¡No te pierdas la visita guiada por la curadora el 30 de septiembre en el opening! “Invention of the landscape” seeks to open virtual, digital, and creative space. A place to remember and become what we are, reinventing ourselves from what we hope we could be. Thus, the exhibition becomes a space of becoming, a space of affinities, and interconnections between compatible forces that mutually attract each other by playing with the possibilities of virtuality in digital space. The online exhibition seeks to decolonize territories and create others, pushing the artifice to the limit in the possibilities of digital virtuality and the imagination. The exhibition is divided into three installations: “Habitat II” by Yohanna M.Roa , “Interior Garden” by Vanessa Freitag , and “Amorous Organisms” by Andrea Rey. The installations are also connected by their textile materiality, a genderized labor usually linked to the feminine and minor art under the perspective of patriarchal discourses in art history. Enunciating from this genre does not deny the sexed body of a woman. Instead, it turns it into the territory from which the re-signification of its symbolic value is possible and where the construction of its imaginary landscape is possible.
