With an art background at the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Engraving, La Esmeralda, Christian Castañeda (Mexico City, 1982) has a highly individual aesthetic sensibility. Her work, which includes drawing, painting, ceramics, and installation, has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad. Additionally, her work has been published and reviewed internationally in magazines and digital media. This multidisciplinary personality has led her to the art of tattooing, where she currently develops as Xian of the Death.
