She studied visual arts at the Faculty of Art and Design, UNAM, Mexico City (2012-2017). She specialized in Pattern Making and Tailoring from the Zeitgeist Institute and received the Young Creators Generation scholarship from the System of Support for Creation and Cultural Projects in 2022. She participated in the "Redes de Rubble" residency at Galería RUINA in San Martín Tílcajete, Oaxaca, in 2024.
Ileana has participated in more than ten solo and group exhibitions in different states of Mexico. Her pieces have been presented at the Monterrey National Biennial, the Museo Universitario del Chopo, and the National Center for the Arts (Cenart) in Mexico City.
Her work is part of the M Foundation collection, and she has exhibited her pieces internationally in Japan, the United States, and Germany.
Ileana lives and works in Mexico City.
